My philosophy is “Earlier is better”

A lot of people ask me and my staff when they should start bringing their children to the dentist. My little guys have been coming to see me since they were 12 months old. It’s a great way for them to get into the habit of having their teeth checked and interacting with our staff. Habits such as thumb sucking and diet should be monitored as these habits can affect your child’s mouth. In my experience if any dental work is required down the track, your children would have developed a positive relationship with us making dental treatment a non event.

I cant understand why kid’s dentistry has to be expensive? let’s face it, we spend enough on private
health insurance so its just health fund only for kids under 14 where ever possible.

A lot of my patients bring in their young children when they have their own examination and clean. I am happy to have a look and see what changes are happening in the mouth.
